Atlantis

John Koha

Featuring veteran vocalist John Koha on lead vocals and piano/synth with an arsenal of harmonies backing him up from the rest of the band, their stunning vocal performance sets them apart from most other Melodic Rock groups. John’s most memorable previous stage experience was touring with the country’s premier Journey tribute band, Escape, and having the opportunity to perform a duet with none other than Steve Perry himself. John was also a popular vocal instructor in Redondo Beach, CA. His vocal performance can be heard singing Don’t Stop Believin’ on the opening credits of a recent MIRIMAX feature film View From The Top, starring Mike Myers, Gwyneth Paltrow, Candice Bergen and Christina Applegate. Before forming Escape, John led the original Melodic Rock group Koha, which was produced by Kevin Beamish (of Starship and REO Speedwagon fame).

Chuck Domagall

The backbone of Atlantis is its rhythm section. The drummer and vocalist, Chuck Domagall, has toured throughout the Midwest with multiple different groups including the original Crystal Axe, Dam Band, and Live n Kickin. He had the pleasure of sharing the stage with everyone from The Ozarks to The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band to none other than the Grammy Award-winning country/southern rock group, Alabama. His rock-steady tempo and energy onstage is something you won’t want to miss. Chuck is also a drum instructor, runs his own recording studio and does session work for countless other artists as well.

Drew Riehle

On bass and vocals is Drew Riehle. Drew began playing at a very young age and has had the privilege of performing with the late jazz great Maynard Ferguson, as well as sharing the stage with many premier rock bands, including Creedence Clearwater, Skid Row and Survivor, just to name a few. He was trained in jazz studies, which includes the upright bass. Drew’s in the pocket approach to playing has been sought after by many artists and bands across the Midwest. Drew runs a recording studio out of his home and has done session work for many regional artists.

Joe Gibbon

Last but definitely not least, Atlantis features Joe Gibbon on lead and rhythm guitars. Joe toured the entire U.S. for over a decade with the rock band Phoenix until he played a show in Northern MN and decided this is where he wanted to stay. His guitar playing can be best described as one word: emotional. One solo can make your heart pound and the next one brings tears to your eyes. Joe is also a guitar instructor, a session musician and a recording engineer in his own studio.

Club owners, agents and fans never cease to be amazed at the raw talent Atlantis provides on a consistent basis. With over 75 years of combined professional experience, you won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to book this powerhouse at your club or venue.
